Understand the demand Expos drive
Art, business, technology to food - there’s too many expos to list that could impact your business, but we have a solution for you.
Expos Impact Businesses
Ensure you are prepared to predict demand shifts from expos.
We aggregate, clean, and enrich data from many sources so your business can be informed with a wide range of expos, from small ones such as Surf Expo (28,000+) that may impact traffic to larger ones like The Big E (1.5m+) that will drive major crowds.
Top expos happening in the next 90 days
There are often hundreds, if not thousands of expos that happen every month. In order to best prepare, you need to have insight into the most impactful ones coming up. These are a sample of the top expos happening in the next three months that may have an impact on your business.
Get up and running quickly with our expo data
We’ve created a Jupyter notebook around how to integrate scheduled, attendance-based data such as expos into your models to help your Data Science teams get up and running quickly. It includes guides to using our API and data with common Data Science tools and libraries in Python.

Take Control of Severe Weather Impact
Almost every business tracks weather, knowing it has some impact on demand. But some consistent feedback we hear from our customers is severe weather events drive the most impact, and were the hardest to know how to handle, as it was near impossible to update forecasting models in an automatic and accurate way given limitations to existing data.

Predicted Attendance
Better understand impact through reliable attendee count
PredictHQ models identify a specific predicted attendance for each expo. While bigger doesn’t necessarily mean higher impact (proximity and relevant matter too), this enables your models to identify potential impact by attendee count so your teams can prepare.
Distance to venue
Venue location and capacity is key to track
The closer your stores or sites are to a venue, the higher the potential impact. If you are in the transportation industry, the drivers who are closer to an expo venue when the session ends are will pick passengers up fastest. Or maybe you are a retailer that has a store 2 blocks from a venue and another store 5 blocks away. The store closer to the venue will likely need more staff support and stock on expo days.
Identify trends easily
Not all expos are created equal and they do not occur in a vacuum. Expos and other types of ticketed, attended events draw in large amounts of people. If your business is located near a venues that host expos and events, you need to look at the total number of people expected to be in a given area for events on a given day. PredictHQ aggregates the impact of attended events by location so you can quickly identify high impact days and make your demand forecasting smarter.
Expos impact businesses differently
Data teams rely on high quality data to understand market conditions across all industries. Expos are a highly impactful category that drive demand for many businesses.
Explore our other event categories
Expos are included in our attendance-based, scheduled events. We have 18 other categories that are both unscheduled and scheduled events that you can explore to see what else might impact your demand.
You can’t prepare for what you don’t see coming
Harness the power of demand intelligence
Knowing the impact of demand causal factors like events will transform your business. The American Society of Hematology has a $45M estimated economic impact — and that's only one event in one city.
